Experimental letterpress printing of the word "suckle". Created using various printing techniques, including a split fountain where two colors of ink (orange and red) are rolled together on the same brayer to make a gradient effect. Eventually, I added silver to the letters by hand to see what would happen when the paper was placed over it. The ending results were intriguing and colorful. This project was very fun and an interesting way to use letterpress printing that I haven't before.
